ELECTION COMMISSIONER SCHOOL TO BE HELD
Lena R. Torres, Clerk of Court, announces that a course of instruction for Election Commissioners will be held on MONDAY, JULY 21, 2008 AT 7:00 P.M. in the COURTHOUSE at 1101 WEST ST. BERNARD HWY in CHALMETTE. In accordance with R.S. 18:431 of the Louisiana Election Code, all commissions expire on June 30, 2008. Anyone desiring to be a commissioner must attend class to become certified to serve during the next four years beginning July 1, 2008.
YOU MUST BE A REGISTERED VOTER IN ST. BERNARD PARISH TO SERVER
This is a mandatory meeting for ALL COMMISSIONERS even if you have served as a Commissioner or a Commissioner-in-Charge in the past, you must still attend the class to become certified for the next four years. If you have any questions please call (504) 271-3434 for further assistance.
